We’re here to get you started with PMP to help you share your knowledge with others who want to learn more. Together we will continue our mission of improving people’s lives through plant medicine.

Creating a course

Our platform utilizes LearnDash, a powerful WordPress system that allows you to create and manage online courses. To plan a course using LearnDash, start by outlining your course structure, including the main topics, lessons, and quizzes. Consider your target audience, learning objectives, and the overall flow of the course. Determine how you want to deliver the content, whether through text, videos, or interactive elements. It’s also important to decide on your course pricing, access restrictions, and any prerequisites

To plan and build a course using LearnDash, follow these key steps:

  1. Plan your course structure carefully before building it in LearnDash. Start by defining clear learning objectives and outlining the main topics, lessons, and assessments. Consider your target audience and how you want to deliver the content (text, videos, etc.). Break down your knowledge into digestible lessons that follow a logical progression.
  2. Use the LearnDash course builder to construct your course. Access it by going to your Instructor Dashboard and clicking “Add New” or editing an existing course. The intuitive interface allows you to easily add sections, lessons, topics, and quizzes. You can create new content directly in the builder or add existing lessons and topics.
  3. To add lessons, click “New Lesson” in the course builder, enter the lesson title, and click “Add Lesson”. Edit lesson content by clicking the blue “Edit” link next to the lesson title. Within lessons, you can add topics and quizzes to further structure your content. Use a mix of content types (text, videos, images, quizzes) to keep students engaged.

LearnDash also offers features like content dripping to control the pace of learning, and options to set course pricing and access restrictions. As you build your course, focus on creating a smooth learning journey for your students, ensuring each lesson builds upon previous knowledge.

Publish your course

Submit your course for review

As an instructor, here’s the process for submitting your course for review:

  1. Create and refine your course content: Develop your lessons, topics, quizzes, and any other course materials using the course builder. Ensure all your content is complete and polished before submission.
  2. Attempt to publish or update your course: Once you’re satisfied with your course content, try to publish the new course.
  3. Review notification: You’ll see a notification informing you that your course needs to be reviewed before it can go live. This is a built-in quality control measure.
  4. Submit for review: Confirm that you want to submit your course for review. This action will automatically change your course status to “Draft” and trigger the review process.
  5. Wait for administrator review: After submission, your course will be in a pending state. You can monitor this status in the course listing page, where a new “Pending” column will appear.
  6. Receive feedback or approval: The administrator will review your course and may provide feedback or request changes. If approved, you’ll receive an email notification confirming that your course has been accepted.
  7. Make any necessary revisions: If the administrator suggests changes, make the required updates and resubmit your course following the same process.
  8. Course goes live: Once approved, your course will be published or updated as per your initial request.

Remember, this process helps maintain the quality of courses on the platform and ensures that all content meets the required standards before being made available to learners.
